WHAT TO BRING
For your modeling headshot session, we ask that you bring two distinct looks. This will allow us to capture both a soft, neutral look and a sleek, contemporary vibe.
For modeling headshots, the wardrobe should be very simple, such as a tank top or a well-fitted shirt. We also have pieces in our studio wardrobe that might work, so please let us know if you don’t have something that you think will work.
Look 1 – Light or Neutral Tones
For the first look, bring clothing in soft, light, or neutral tones. This creates a clean, elegant look that emphasizes your face and natural beauty. Neutral shades such as cream, beige, or soft pastels work beautifully for a timeless, fresh headshot.
- Suggested Attire: A fitted tank top or simple fitted shirt in a neutral color. Avoid clothes with bold patterns, logos, or graphic designs—keep it simple and minimal to let your features take center stage.
- Why it works: Light and neutral colors create a fresh headshot that agents love.

Look 2 – Black Tank with Black Leggings or Dark Jeans:
For the second look, bring a black, brown or dark colored tank top paired with black leggings or dark jeans. This monochrome outfit creates a bold, modern style, allowing the shot to feel sleek and contemporary while still maintaining a focus on your features.
- Suggested Attire: A form-fitting black tank top (no logos or distracting designs) paired with black leggings or dark jeans. Make sure the clothes fit (not too tight or too large).

HAIR AND SKIN
A key element of your headshot is a clean, polished look, so we provide professional hair and makeup services for all of our clients.
However, there are a few guidelines to ensure your hair and makeup session goes smoothly.
- Hair: If you color your hair, please make sure you don’t have roots. That can not be corrected in editing. Arrive with dry, clean hair that is free of any product buildup.
- Makeup: Do not wear makeup to the session as we will do your makeup. We recommend arriving with a clean, moisturized face to ensure that your skin is hydrated and prepared for makeup. Avoid using SPF or any products with heavy sunscreen as they can cause a white cast or unwanted shine in photos.
Skin prep is the most important step for modeling and acting headshots! We have some more guidance in articles below.
