Skin Prep Schedule

Smooth skin photographs beautifully — but the goal is healthy, comfortable skin, not irritation. Keep everything gentle and consistent in the weeks leading up to your session.

Nightly non-negotiable

  • Moisturize every night after your shower.
  • Best timing: apply while skin is still slightly damp to help lock in hydration and support the skin barrier.

Body exfoliation

  • 2–3 times per week maximum.
  • Use light pressure and small circular motions — exfoliation should never feel aggressive.
  • Rinse with lukewarm water and moisturize immediately afterward.

Easy schedule: Tuesday + Friday. If your skin runs dry or sensitive, once weekly is plenty.

Dry brushing (optional)

  • 1–2 times per week, before showering.
  • Use very light pressure — this is about gentle stimulation, not scrubbing.
  • Skip if you notice lingering redness, irritation, or sensitivity.

Easy schedule: Sunday + Wednesday, or just once weekly if your skin is dry.

Lip scrub (optional)

  • Once weekly, only if lips feel flaky.
  • Be gentle and always follow with a hydrating lip balm.

Easy schedule: the night before your session or during any self-care evening.

If your skin ever feels tight, stingy, or irritated, pause exfoliation and dry brushing for a few days and focus on gentle cleansing and nightly moisture.
