Curious about boudoir photography? Of course you have questions! Our fun, no-pressure phone consultation answers your questions, explains the process, and gets you excited for your photo session!

STYLING

Let’s style your shoot! During your appointment, we’ll design your session, talk hair and makeup, and make sure you’re prepped and ready for stunning photos!

MAKEOVER

When you come into our studio, you will go into our beautiful hair and makeup area. This is where the magic begins!

PHOTOSHOOT

Our photoshoots include multiple outfit changes and sets, which we defined in the styling appointment. Don’t worry! We will pose you down to your pinky finger. 

REVEAL

We do same-day reveals which means you will see your photographs the same day as your session! Be prepared — you may find you like more than you expected!

Q: Is boudoir for plus-size clients?

A: Absolutely! Boudoir is for every body. Curves make a photograph! That is why we love working with all shapes and sizes, helping you feel confident, and gorgeous!

Q: I feel too old for boudoir. Is it still for me?

A: YES! Boudoir is about celebrating YOU at any age. Whether you’re 25 or 65, your beauty, confidence, and energy shine through at every stage of life!

Q: Do I need to lose weight before my photography session?

A: Nope! Boudoir photography is about embracing who you are right now, not who you think you should be. Come as you are, and we’ll highlight your natural beauty!

Q: Is it okay to do boudoir just for myself?

A: Yes, most women do a photoshoot just for themselves! Boudoir isn’t just about giving a gift to someone else—it’s about you.

Q: Do I have to wear lingerie?

A: Not at all! While we have a lot of lingerie in our studio wardrobe, boudoir isn’t about what you wear. We have dresses, oversized sweaters and fabrics. Or you can bring your favorite jeans and tank. We have a styling appointment, where we will design the session together. 

Q: DO YOU HAVE PAYMENT PLANS?

A: YES! We have in-house, 0%  interest payment plans for boudoir and maternity sessions. We also accept all major credit cards.

Q: WHEN SHOULD I BOOK A BOUDOIR SESSION?

A: At Studio Newport, we book clients up to 6 months in advance. If you have a deadline, plan on 4 weeks for products, 5 business days for digitals. Our calendar fills up, so if you are interested in doing a session in the next year, make sure to reach out!

Q: HOW MUCH DOES A BOUDOIR SESSION COST?

A: We offer a variety of options to suit a wide range of budgets. The session fee of $390 includes hair, makeup, styling, access to our studio wardrobe, and studio time. Collections start at $850. For the full pricing guide, please contact us.

Makeup for photography is a little different than everyday makeup. Our artists know all the tricks—think soft, blended contouring, flawless foundation that looks amazing under lights, and lashes that make your eyes pop without looking overdone. Hand-Retouched to Perfection – Your Way!

At Studio Newport, every boudoir image is hand-retouched with love.
